A Jump to 2015. Well it is has been sometime since I updated the blog. It has been a busy year to date. Where to begin? In February I travelled to Nepal. A very memorable trip. Even more so, after the dreadful disaster of the earthquakes that so devastated the country. We visited Kathmandu and were lucky enough to have good visibility to take the Everest flight. Further highlights were the trips to Bandaphur to witness the sunrise over Annapurna, and the visits to Pokra and Chitvan. Such tragedy, to affect such beautiful people of Nepal. Whilst in India there was another chance to visit the amazing Taj Mahal. This time, with my wife. In March I returned to India. Visiting the tiger reserve at Tadoba and the lions at Gir. A diverse yet amazing trip took me to the amazing holy city of Varanasi. May I again returned to India this time returning once again to the Tiger reserve of Ranthambhore. Then on to the pink city that is Jaipur. Again a most interesting if not tiring trip. I present at camera clubs and run workshop in camera craft and post production courses. This has also kept me active. July included a revisit to the Puffins on Skomer Island and the Red Kite spectacle at Gigrin Farm. More tours are planned for this year, including a kingfisher workshop, a Rhine Cruise and a return winter visit to Hungary, to photograph eagles. All in all a busy year. Plans to visit Africa in 2016 and a Red Squirrel tour booked for January 2016 and Ospreys in Scotland in July.
